Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart
L-E-V is happy to present - Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart“...things get broken, and sometimes they get repaired, and in most cases, you realize that no matter what gets damaged, life rearranges itself to compensate for your loss, sometimes wonderfully.” Hanya Yanagihara | Little Life Moment. Silence. Dryness. Emptiness. Fear. Wholeness. Concealment....

LOVE CHAPTER 2
(Duration: 55 min, without intermission, 5-7 dancers)
I'm a living, loving, functioning being broken into crumbs of love, giving myself to the blast.A sense of disaster, death of all hope and of ending, crawl like an illness via the dancers' bodies. Now that there are no limits we are dangerous to ourselves.Liquids of information, the pain of loss and mental exhaustion mutate into a big a heart coated with darkness and matter made from guarded...

SARA
SARA is like a pearl in a treasure, box of jewels smell like ancient with the feeling of a new. The box cannot be opened all the way, her charm will fade. White pearl, transparent, leaking colors but always remains a pearl. SARA is minimalist, gentle, feeling and sensitive, hard core and...

Killer Pig - Trailer from L¬E¬V Sharon Eyal | Gai Behar on Vimeo. Killer Pig - As if describing the roots of the creative mythology of L-E-V and gives a glimpse into the place where the most temporary theme of the group started. Place of minimalist expression, intense honesty and uncompromising physicality. Also in this work, the college of musician Ori Lichtik assimilated as an...

HOUSE
(Duration: 55 min without intermission)
“House generates various types of crisis. The work is comprised of several different parts, like small families ganging up together, gently and carefully” — “She has her own unique language, knows exactly what she wants to say, and succeeds in doing so. And, as always, Sharon Eyal is hypnotic as a performer – noble and wild...” YNET/YEDIOT AHRONOTHouse...

OCD LOVE 2015
"One of the satisfactions vouchsafed a veteran reviewer lies in following a career that started as a promise and, after a long and winding road of searching, achieves efflorescence. That thought came to me as I watched a wonderful dance work created by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar. From the outset they have been attentive to themselves, and as that attentiveness becomes more intense, their rich...

SARA / KILLER PIG 2014
"The major legacy of Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar is a lexicon of movement that is unlike that of other artists. It’s their own language, full of passion and, at the same time, marvelously delicate. The dancers move like people from another culture, with bodies that move differently and with a world of images and memories of their own. These two dances have already been performed by troupes...

HOUSE 2014
"The dancers were as if eerily unhuman, their characterization, through bound-flow contorting and twitching completely captivating. House, the 55-minute work by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, literally brought down the house. While the dancers performed utterly grotesque shapes, lines, and facial gestures, the unity, variety, repetition, and contrast of elements were eloquently sequenced....

HOUSE 2012
“House was, in my eyes, a love letter to dance. It was sexy, naughty, dirty, suggestive and delicious. The nearly nude dancers, each one fiercer than the next, moved like they had been sprinkled with magic powder.I loved the risky feeling I got sitting in the audience. As if Eyal was leading me into some shady back alley of the dance world that I wasn’t sure I should be allowed to visit....

UNTITLED BLACK 2012
“The choreography is an abstract tale that is telling the story through form. There is pleasure in every second.”Lis Hellström Sveningson GOTEBORGS POSTEN “...a never ending flow of movement which under full control is spreading across the stage. A wondrous freedom takes place in the strong structure, the symbiosis with the music is total.” Lis Hellström Sveningson GOTEBORGS...

TOO BEAUCOUP 2012
“But the evening belonged to Eyal... Eyal’s work is a fierce study in groupology, stamina and twitchy precision. Militaristically cavorting to Ori Lichtik’s divine mash-up score, 15 dancers in flesh-colored unitards and short blond wigs (Nijinsky’s “Faun,” anyone?) made goofy robo-moves and cartoony gambits akin to a thrilling alien rave.” VIctoria LooseleaLA TIMES, Feb....

BILL 2010
“‘Bill’ is characterized by a primal, wild, almost tribal atmosphere − and at the same time one that is also contemporary, like today’s club culture.” Roni Dori HAARETZ, May 2010 “Her movement style seems to be drawn with a tender hand, and also unintentionally chaotic, yet precision and perfection are her hallmark. This dance piece stands out, it will be...

Killer Pig 2009
“…qualified choreographer Sharon Eyal demonstrates precision in execution… form-fitting and erotic.” TANZ MAGAZINE, GermanyMay 2011 “The movement is controlled but not automatic. It´s free but at the same time held. It´s wild inside the calm. The way Eyal assembles the contradicting forces and the movement pattern is what makes her movement concept so owerful”...

BERTOLINA 2006
“Last night Eyal caught me by the throat, squeezed hard and threw me right into the battle arena of her mind... you can’t help but being completely drawn to the movements on stage, wanting to join the dancers... swirl as if in a pagan ritual, bite your elbows, feel how the rich and rhythmical soundtrack seeps into your bones and drives you mad.” Na’ama Lanski YEDIOTH...
